Race of Legends Season 9 Code
- The race begins at Mermaid’s Hideaway.
- Nothing can be fired from a cannon at an opposing ship except the cursed cannonballs provided to each crew. No sniping between ships. All combat is limited to swords only. Harpoons cannot be used on opposing pirates, the opposing ship or their rowboat.
- From Mermaid’s Hideaway crews will sail to Sailor’s Knot Stronghold. Each member of the crew must touch dry land at the fortress and then die in the most efficient way possible. Once the entire crew is on the Ferry of the Damned they will respawn back onto their ship together.
- From Sailor’s Knot Stronghold crews will sail to Lagoon of Whispers and harpoon one of two firework crates that are on the end of the dock on board their ship. The firework inside that crate must be removed before arriving at Golden Sands.
- At Golden Sands two crew members will detach their rowboat from their ship with their empty firework crate on board and row into the tunnel beneath golden sands.
- PvP is allowed at Golden Sands but limited to swords only. Crews cannot board another crew’s rowboat.
- The rowboat will drop one pirate off at the “Smuggler’s entrance” to the tavern. That pirate will go upstairs and exchange the empty firework crate for a trinket that will be waiting for them on the stage in the tavern. That pirate must then chug an entire tankard of grog in the tavern. Once the grog has been drunk that pirate must take their trinket with them and reboard their rowboat as it is continuing to row through the outpost as shown on the map included with these rules.
- Once the rowboat has the trinket and the pirate that retrieved it from the tavern on board, it can row past the two rocks one either side of the outlet on the northwest corner of the outpost and reattach their rowboat to their ship before heading for Imperial Crown Fortress
- At Imperial Crown Fortress each crew must retrieve either a skull or chest from the wooden platform at the bottom level of the fortress. The first crew to arrive must use the pulleys to move the platform until it is level with them so they can step on to it, before leaving their trinket on the platform and taking the skull or chest back to their ship. Crews must leave the fortress via the portcullis on the bottom level.
- Once the skull or chest is on board, crews can head back to Mermaid’s Hideaway.
- PvP is active at Mermaid’s Hideaway but limited to swords or any provided throwables only.
- At Mermaid’s Hideaway pirates may only enter the island through the tunnels beneath the island. One member of the crew will bring their firework with them and another will bring the skull or chest retrieved from Imperial Crown Fortress.
To win: The crew must shoot their firework off from the cannon on the island AND the skull or chest retrieved from Imperial Crown Fortress must be on the wooden platform around the beacon before it can be lit to win the race!
